REPORTS AND UPDATES

a.      Planning

20/10773/CLE - Danica Rise, Everleigh Road, Haxton - Certificate of lawfulness for use of mobile home to provide additional accommodation for family members within one household. Councillors voted against it. Clerk to send objection letter to Wiltshire Council

 

b.      Footpaths and Rights of Way

i.       Lower Street, Haxton. Tree down across footpath on MOD land. Clerk to report.

ii.      Trees not replaced in The Warren as promised. Clerk to remind Landmarc.

 

c.      Allotments

Damage to the entrance by Landmarc. No action.

 

d.     Phoenix Hall

i.      The hall is shut due to lockdown. 

ii.     Plan put forward to build a bungalow behind the Phoenix Hall and rent out to help finance the Phoenix Hall. Result of PRE-APP awaited.

 

e.      Transport & Highways

Nil.

 

f.    Tidworth Area Board

Meeting online 25 January 20211 due to Covid-19. Cllr. Wood to log in.

 

g.   Parish Steward

Attending 14 January 2021.

 

h.   Jubilee Committee

Not meeting due to Covid-19.

FY 2021/22 BUDGET & PRECEPT

Cllr. Wood explained the principal budget changes for FY 2021/22. 

The precept will be £6466 with no increase in the charge to each household.       

a.    Allowance of £750 for Parish Council Election costs in May.

b.    Allowance of £1364 for a grant to the Phoenix Hall for planning permission for a bungalow.

c.    No allowance for refurbishing the telephone box alongside Westbrook House.

Cllr. Wood to discuss with owner of the property.

d.    Allowance of £1000 for security cameras. Tidworth Area Board to be asked to match-fund.

Item 20/48 – Wiltshire Council not doing anything.

ACCOUNTS 

a.    Balance             As at 12.01.2021     - £5,870.22

b.    Cllr. Wood to submit 4th quarter VAT return.

CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED

a.    Mr Mallingham suggested that all street lights be removed. The Council voted not to remove street lights. Cllr. Wood to advise Mr. Mallingham.

b.    Contract for cutting Footpaths and rights of way – one bid received from Martin Symes. Accepted by the Council.

a.    Grit bins in Fittleton, Clerk to ask Wiltshire Council how many grit bins there are supposed to be in Fittleton.
