QUESTIONS FROM MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC

Member of the public asked if any light could be shed on the possible sale of a piece of land at the rear of 1 Chestnut Rise Haxton. This is the property of Aster and houses garages on this land. The person requesting information has made several attempts to buy this land since 2014.     (SL) Contact Aster for information so that the member of the public can have an understanding of the sale.

REPORT FROM WILTSHIRE COUNCILLOR – IBP

(IBP) The Amesbury area board have been liaising with the MOD across the Eastern half of Salisbury Plain        Encompassing Bulford Larkhill Tidworth Garrisons. The idea is to hold regular informal meetings with a dedicated member from the Garrison to improve the understanding of how the military work within the area. This will allow any complaints/ ideas to be fed through one source.

The next formal Area board meeting will be on line, after this the formal meetings will be in person to allow decision making, rewriting ten-year plan and other Council matters. The subset meetings that are informal and idea forming meet in between the formal four area board meetings.

The informal Paths4 all meeting will be held Friday 10th September 2021.

(DG) To share the meeting information on social media to reach as many people as possible.

REPORT by the Clerk

(SL) The two notice boards in Fittleton and Haxton are proving very difficult to post documents into. The interior is a hard board and pins will not hold the documents in place as they bend against the hard wood.
