REPORT FROM WILTSHIRE COUNCILLOR
Enford flood plan working group to discuss issues surrounding flooding in Enford. Plan may be applicable to Fittleton cum Haxton. Ensure blocked gulleys are reported. Funding has been queried by parents and local parishioners of Avon Valley as to who is responsible for refugees in the area, meetings are being held to answer concerns as the financial responsibilities lie between the Council and the MOD, these meetings are publicised for all to attend. Parking machines across the County being renewed to take cash, card and mobile payment forms with accessibility a key point. Still awaiting government advice on new planning laws, energy quotas, household support fund.

AGREE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF 7 MAY 2024
Minutes of FcH Parish Council Meeting held on 7th May 2024 agreed and accepted.
Copy of previous Minutes signed by Chair.

REPORTS/UPDATES BY COUNCILLORS
a) Phoenix Hall AGM meeting w/c 1st July, responsibilities agreed. Bookings up for the next half of the year. Next meeting 16th October. Meeting attended by Cllr SS.
b) Planning application Ref Fittleton House, Cllr CG and Cllr VJ have viewed property. New access path and removal of side porch along with internal modification. No objections.
c) The Drove overgrown and has been reported but not cut as of 09/07. The Warren strimmed and tidied. Resident of Everleigh road has raised an issue with grass behind their property being a fire risk. MOD contacted but no response. Cllr PC to call landmark and raise the issue.
d) White lines around the Pound need to be repainted to be addressed at next LHFIG meeting, slow sign on Everleigh road has perished and needs renewal. Road signs around the parish need refreshing.
e) Still 1 allotment plot vacant, place in next newsletter.
f) Jubilee Committee request to use generator for Fittle Fayre. PCC donation £50 agreed.
g) Stonehenge Area Board-NIL
h) Gratings and gutters cleared but no clear instruction on if gulleys are full. Pot holes need attention. Ongoing issues to be sent to Cllr KF to bring to the attention of the Parish Steward.

PARISH MATTERS
a) Choulston Footpath – request to lay wood chippings:
Wet wood chippings on a slope could cause further hazard. Agreed not to pursue this further.
b) Everleigh Road Speed Indicator Device update:
Cllr DG attended LHFIG meeting to discuss the need to place a deterrent for pedestrian safety. Permission to place a SID and a pole there along with painted white lines to indicate footpaths is being persued. Kate Davey has agreed to meet with members of Parish Council to assess and to place a speed monitor, no ETA.
c) Newsletter:
Fundraising discussed to help raise funds towards costs. Review at September meeting.
d) Tree Seedlings – by allotment gates:
Seedlings by gate have been cleared. Seedlings by River Cottage to the left of the gate to be cleared.
Hedge to the side of allotment responsibility discussed, possibly add to Parish Steward list.
e) Christmas Arrangements are still TBC for this year, awaiting price from Eneervo for lights. Event to be held in the Church subject to availability due to feedback from parishioners.
f) Both Defibrillators to be replaced, agreed by all Cllrs.
