Minutes of previous meeting, 8th July 2025, agreed and signed by Cllr PC.

REPORTS FROM SUB-COMMITTEES & REPRESENTATIVES ON OTHER GROUPS
a) Phoenix Hall - AGM 9th July, total increase on hirings 22% on last year with the accounts in a surplus. Half year accounts due at their next meeting. Balance in bank £21933.13 as of end of June. Next meeting is on October 8th.
b) Planning - PL/2025/06955 Haxton Farm House, remedial tree works 7 x conifers, no comments to make.
c) Footpaths & Rights of Way - NIL
d) Transport & Highways - Nothing outstanding.
e) Allotments - Still 2 vacant plots, another vacant next year. To advertise in next newsletter. To purchase plastic for weed suppression.
f) Jubilee Committee - NIL
g) Stonehenge Area Board - 25th September next meeting in the Phoenix Hall.
h) Parish Steward - Visited last month, has tidied areas of grass. No large outstanding needs currently.

Noise issue on Everleigh road, advised correct course of action through Wiltshire Council for complaints.

PARISH MATTERS
a) Sycamore Tree - Due to be felled 4/5th September, still standing currently. Wiltshire Council have deemed it unsafe and needs to be felled.
b) Email address costs/legalities - £7 per month hosting cost agreed for one email to be instigated by April 2026. To set up generic email for councillors.
c) Newsletter – Articles by Councillors greatly fully received for the next edition.
d) Christmas Plans - To seek authority from Fittleton PCC to hold a Christmas event on December 12th. Cllr VJ and Cllr CG organising to finalise details at next meeting. To advertise in next newsletter.
